Aurora
Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, released in May 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. She has recorded several high-profile cover songs, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which have been widely praised. Katy Perry's support for the song Runaway in a blog post brought the singer additional acknowledgement. Enjoy the celebration of this special event. Aurora Aksnes' first musical moment was when she stumbled across a miniature piano in her basement and becoming enthralled by the sounds it created. Parents May-Britt and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as a career or hobby but for growth. This led to her began to write her own music. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her most favored writers. When her mother told her that her songs would not just help her get noticed, however, they could also help others understand their significance in the world and realize the possibilities for her songs, she decided to begin singing in public. Her mother suggested that she sing her songs in public to help people realize their importance and the ways they impact the world. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known by her family until she turned fourteen. Aurora has never imagined being a famous singer. As she says, she simply likes to write songs. For her music, it is the best means of communicating anything.
