Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman is Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. She is widely acknowledged as the pioneer of modern research of the eyewitness memory of children and utilizing child victims to be legal witnesses. Professor Goodman, who has a wide range of publications and many awards to her credit she is also the winner of a variety of international and national awards. She has collaborated with numerous organisations and governments across the world on studies and policy issues pertaining to children who have been people who are victims of the law. She is also a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of several professional associations, such as those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She has been president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division as well as three divisions of Children and Families Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
